I designed a quote by W.H. Auden for Project Everyone that works with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on the project Goalkeepers. Created in 2017, Goalkeepers sets out to inspire and incentivize a generation of thinkers and doers towards achieving the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
I was asked to letter this quote to act as a banner for their newsletter, as well as for their Instagram feed and story.
I sketched about six designs and sent these two as my strongest ones for the team to look over. I was asked to include the particular shade of blue the project had designated for this goal in my final version.

A hand lettered gif for the Muslim holiday of Eid. I made this graphic for Eid-ul-Fitr, using motifs that correspond with the holiday.
Eid-ul-Fitr is the holiday after the end of Ramzan when the crescent moon is sighted. Muslims spend the day celebrating with mehendi (henna), food, and (in my home) copious amounts of flowers.
I loved Jenny Slate’s book Little Weirds and underlined many sentences from it. With this piece I tried to capture the whimsical nature of her prose and include elements that would follow the aesthetic of her book cover.
